Author: Maureen Ann Flaherty, The Stained Glass Heart & The Portable Sister Maureen Ann Flaherty, (aka “Mo”) is a writer, public speaker, marketing consultant, actor and doggie foster mom. She has worked in corporate communications, for non- profit groups, and held some interesting jobs, such as acting the lead role in an Emmy-nominated short film, Radioman and operating a forklift. Her first book, “The Portable Sister,” was published by Andrews McMeel. The little encouragement book is like having a sister to cheer you on throughout the day. Mo describes herself as an “idea person” and splits her time between working in youth ministry and writing with her collaborator and best friend, Theo, her black lab.
