Inhaltsangabe

Making good grades - even straight A's, is a fine goal if that's what you want or need, but too many students memorize facts, do well on exams, then soon forget everything. What a terrible waste of time, effort and money. Rather than focusing on grades, students need to focus on getting a Great Education, en education that will help them reach their most important goals. The second edition is shorter than the first, leaving out the least important topics and focusing on the most powerful learning strategies, learning how to study, learning to use your brain more effectively, and an easy to understand introduction to Critical Thinking.
