Inhaltsangabe

In Altenbyrne, death may be the only escape.

Tristin’s gift of incredible speed is all he and his twin sister have to survive the king’s unjust laws within the walled kingdom. After stealing a lifemask for their dying mother, the twins are forced to go on the run. With no other choice to escape the king’s reach, they cross the treacherous Slaybyrne River where the lethal grinderfish feed.
But stealing lifemasks is punishable by death. And Tristin soon learns that even an unpassable river might not be enough to shield them forever.
The king’s deadly Angel of Justice is coming.
And he will slaughter all who get in his way.
