Rick Zachary is a Church Planter. He began his ministry in 1978, when he served seven years as a missionary in Haiti and Nigeria, West Africa. From Nigeria, he returned to the United States to serve fourteen years as Mission Pastor under Pastor Larry Stockstill at Bethany World Prayer Center. In 2000 Rick resigned from his position at Bethany and launched a faith ministry, becoming a part of an international church planting team that serves together, with pastor Larry’s leadership, in a world-wide church planting vision. Rick has focused on the region of South Asia, which includes India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan. In 2002, he launched a vision to plant significant “Model Churches” in major cities of South Asia. In addition to the model church plants, he has provided training and resources to establish over 600 village churches in South Asia.
