Inhaltsangabe

A terrorist attack devastates much of America's government, allowing a dictator to seize the presidency. With the backing of a foreign power and under the influence of extremist religious groups, he permits foreign forces to occupy the West Coast as collateral for the trillions the US owes them. Large segments of both the population and the military rise up against the dictator and his allies, igniting a civil war. An Army Ranger partners with a Military Police officer to make the fight personal, abducting the dictator’s trophy wife in hopes of exchanging her for prisoners of war. Their uneasy friendship develops, and the duo becomes the scourge of the Appalachian region.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Beginning my professional life as a US Army infantry officer, I recently retired as a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service at the US Department of State. I served our country in times of peace and war armed with esoteric military and diplomatic skills and speaking several foreign languages. Throughout my career the government deployed me on permanent or temporary duty to 32 foreign countries. I hold a Bachelor’s degree on Politics and Public Affairs from the University of Miami at Coral Gables; a Master of Science in Management from Florida International University at Miami; and, a Master of Science in National Security Strategy from the National War College, National Defense University, Washington, D.C. Living near the tranquil source of the picturesque Rock Creek in the unincorporated area of Maryland’s Montgomery County, its surrounding wilderness inspired the Insurrection Series. I published "Appalachian Command" in July 2013, "Mile-High Blood" in December 2014 and Tiger Legion in April 2017. Currently, I'm working on my next book "Letters from Blitz."
