Award-winning author William Valentine was born in New York City and grew up on the Jersey Shore. He resides with his wife in Florida, where he has owned and operated a major boatyard for the last 30 years. His hobbies include sailboat racing, big game and flats fishing, bird hunting, sporting clays shooting, and blues music. William holds a B.A. in English Literature. Among his favorite author's are, John O'Hara, John D. MacDonald, Hunter S. Thompson , James W. Hall, and Randy Wayne White.
