Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

That would be me—Olga Sheean. I’m from Ireland ...which explains a lot, don’t you think? The Irish love to laugh at themselves, and we’ve had to develop a healthy sense of humour to cope with all the rain and religious oppression. When I was growing up, many of my peers enjoyed getting legless at the pub on a Friday night. I never did fit in with that crowd, but I learnt a lot by observing people who drank to avoid their problems yet whose problems were largely caused by too much drinking. Things have changed for the better, since those early days, and I have many wise, alcohol-free Irish friends (and family members). Back then, though, not being a drinker of alcohol, or even black tea, I was more an objective observer of the Irish social scene than an active participant in it. It’s no wonder, then, that I became an expert in human dynamics and behaviour, with so much rich material to study, in sober solitude. Since moving to Canada in 1992, having lived in Belgium, France, Switzerland, New Zealand and several other nice warm countries, I’ve worked internationally as a coach, counsellor, writer, magazine/book editor, publisher and photo-journalist, as well as an empowerment coach specializing in relationships, human dynamics, self-mastery and general debunking of collectively pre-programmed conventional thinking. My work is about maximizing performance, while enhancing leadership, creativity and magnetism—and having fun doing it. With a focus on transforming negative subconscious programming and achieving greater ease, success, enlightenment and fulfillment, I offer consultations, empowerment intensives, relationship workshops, corporate coaching, Dream Teams©, Life Changers©, practitioner training and customized online training worldwide. I live in Vancouver with my husband, with whom I’ve developed numerous creative projects, the Institute for Creative Empowerment, and far too many laugh lines.
