Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Julie Dubrouillet is a certified labor support doula, childbirth and lactation educator and pre-natal yoga instructor, as well as a trainer of childbirth educators and the mother of two children. The pre-natal Health Education Specialist at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Palo Alto, California, Julie has taught thousands of couples how best to approach childbirth and directly supported hundreds of couples through the births of their children. Simon Firth is a writer specializing in stories about parenting and technology. He's written for Salon, Wondertime, Food and Wine and the Christian Science Monitor among other publications and is a regular technology analyst for the London Evening Standard. He attended the births of his two children, where he lovingly supported his wife thanks to the tips he learned in a class taught by his co-author Julie. Julie was also the doula attending his children's births.
