The author, attorney Gregory M. McCauley, has protected taxpayers’ rights across the country for over thirty years. McCauley represents taxpayers in civil and criminal tax matters. McCauley graduated from Widener University School of Law and then clerked for United States District Court Judge James McGirr Kelly in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. McCauley then practiced in the litigation department at the prestigious Philadelphia law firm, Blank, Rome, Comisky, and McCauley. McCauley opened a private practice and he later limited his practice to civil and criminal tax matters and Tax Court litigation. Attorney McCauley is a member of the Loyola Society at Saint Joseph’s University. McCauley is a thirty-year member of the Union League of Philadelphia. As an attorney, McCauley is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, where he has served on the Professional Liability and Judicial Administration Committees for over 25 years. McCauley is also a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association. McCauley is admitted to numerous state, federal, appellate courts and the United States Tax Court. McCauley is a licensed attorney and can represent taxpayers from every state before the IRS and U.S. Tax Court.
