A college professor once told Damien K. H. Nash that the young man had some of the worst writing ability that she ever encountered. Nash did not accept this label and took her comment as a challenge. Now, five years later, he has founded TNG Publishings, LLC, a full-service custom book publishing company, and he just completed his fourth book Thoughts From the Box: 31 Day Devotional. Nash received the Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine University in 2006 and, in 2008, the Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Rubel School of Business at Bellarmine. Nash played two years for the Bellarmine University Knights basketball team, receiving the Coaches’ Award his freshman year. He co-owns Showcase Lawns and Gardens, a subsidiary of The Nash Group, Inc., and is the author of How to Load Your Truck. He also co-authored, directed and executive–produced Big Box, Little Box: How One Little Box Finds His Way and The Forecast Calls For Potential Rain, a children’s book series and animated film. As a national speaker, he has spoken to audiences young and old about the importance of rejecting negative labels others want to place on us. Using his experience from working at a parcel delivery company and a major airline, Nash has become an agent of change with his engaging and witty storytelling.
