How can we see God through His creation? The Nature of God: Daily Devotionals Celebrating SUMMER shows how by comparing animal behavior, weather, and other natural phenomena with God’s attributes. The first in a series of four seasonal devotionals, this book delivers inspiration and refreshment for those struggling to know God in a deeper way. The author’s short bursts of spiritual “meat” are based on her personal experiences of nature, especially as enjoyed in the northern parts of the United States. Her insights about simple things such as snow, garden seeds, and earthquakes will hook the reader with the eternal truths of God’s Word as seen through the eyes of His creation. Often humorous, her stories encourage the reader toward increased faith, help in coping with everyday problems, and revelation of God’s personality. Each devotional integrates Scripture lessons with the text, offering a profound, juxtaposed picture of the Creator’s love. Each also includes lined space to add thoughts and prayers. Larger type than normal is provided, as well as an order form for the author’s published books.
