Greenup Time is storytelling at its best with characters that tug at your heart and soul. Roe's ability to observe and understand his characters serves him well in telling Floyd and Callie's story. With sparkling dialogue and lyrical descriptions he gives voice to this timeless story of search and discovery. The result is a sweet book, though imbued with bitter pain - a weaving together of light and dark.
