Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Gabriela Condrea was born in Chisinau, Moldova and raised in Seattle, Washington. She is an author, Argentine tango teacher, and student of life. After taking a one-year leave from her job as an 8th Grade Language Arts (English) teacher in Seattle in 2008 and meeting tango along her route, her life changed completely. Since the beginning of 2009, Gabriela has been writing about and studying tango intensively, sacrificing the stability of a full-time job to reside in Buenos Aires for a total of 16 months during the first two years of her love affair with tango. In May 2010, she blended her passion for teaching (sharing) with her passion for tango and began teaching classes and workshops on Argentine Tango, as well. Since publishing When 1+1=1, she has expanded her reach by creating interactive book presentations infused with tango games. Gabriela has toured Europe, the U.S. and Canada promoting her book, teaching tango workshops, and connecting people through music, dance, and the art of writing wherever she goes.
