Sometimes it feels like we have the weight of the world on our shoulders. Life in America today takes a lot of energy. It takes a lot of effort to play all the roles we need to play, do all the things we feel obligated to do. There isn’t enough time, there isn’t enough money, there isn’t enough you! Why is that? Can we do anything about it? Satan does not want you to read this book. He will do anything to distract and deflect you. An acquaintance of mine tried to read the book and was interrupted by visitors she hadn’t seen in three years; she then received three telephone calls, including one about a family dispute that took several days to resolve. Satan will do whatever he can to prevent you from reading this book.

Allen Kofsky was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. At age 18 he moved to the western United States, settling in the Portland, Oregon area for twenty five years. He became disabled with multiple sclerosis at age forty three. 2 Corinthians 11:3 (KJV) was Allen's salvation verse. He had been making it all too complicated and a Pastor used that verse to convince him that it was simpler to accept Jesus than he imagined. That verse inspired this book. At the age fifty-seven he finally wrote this book which had been on his heart and mind for many years. It is his hope that the book will inspire many to simplify their lives to be more like Jesus. He passed away in April 2012.
