Lorraine E. Thomas, M.Ed., is a professional speaker, author and workshop facilitator. For over 20 years, she has been assisting others in finding ways to achieve their goals. As CEO and founder of Destiny’s Daughters of Promise - mentor and leadership program for young women, she serves as a mentor, trainer and coach to help teens discover their purpose and develop the necessary skills that will prepare them for college and careers. Lorraine is a leader in advocating for youth engagement in society and the processes that shape their futures. A long-time educator at the elementary school level, instructional coach, and facilitator of educational administrative leadership, Lorraine has unique insight into the various skills needed for young people to become successful and contributing members of society. She is a firm believer that youth participation in community service will help to improve their academic skills and it provides an opportunity for them to learn habits of good citizenship. In addition to her passion for youth success, Lorraine also provides coaching, leadership and personal development programs for women. She has presented workshop sessions for various organizations, churches and youth groups emphasizing leadership and relationship building techniques.
