A basic premise of The Highly Engaged Classroom is that student engagement happens as a result of a teacher s careful planning and execution of specific strategies. In other words, student engagement is not serendipitous. Über die Autorinnen und Autoren
Robert Marzano received PhD from University of Washington and has written over 30 best selling books on assessment, instruction, effective leadership, and school improvement.Debra Pickering consults with school districts and state departments of education worldwide. She is a senior scholar at Marzano Research Lab.
