The translation is by Dr. Raymond Faulkner (1894-1982), a renowned British Egyptologist. Dr. Ogden Goelet, Professor of Egyptian Languag and Literature at New York University, provides an introduction and commentaries. The preface is by Carol Andrews, curator in the Department of Egyptian Antiquities at the British Museum. James Wasserman is a writer and book designer whose supervision brought the work of these and other scholars together in this Library Edition of the work.
