Paul M. Muchinsky is the Joseph M. Bryan Distinguished Professor at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He received his Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from Purdue University. Dr. Muchinsky is a Fellow of four divisions of the American Psychology Association, the inaugural recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Contribution Award by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Psychology, and a licensed psychologist. He was the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate, the Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) by Gettysburg College. He has been an active scholar, teacher, and consultant over his 35-year career, and his book "Psychology Applied To Work" is the most widely read text in the 100-year history of the field.
