Tamara L. Chilver (TLC) is the founder of Teaching with TLC, which was created to help bridge the gap between home and school by providing parents with the tools they need to help their children succeed academically. Tamara is currently a homeschool mom of three boys and a homeschool evaluator who assists other homeschool families with end-of-year testing and evaluations. Tamara also provides teaching workshops for parents and is an author of two published books.Tamara has a diverse background in education and wants to assist parents of elementary children. Her bachelor's degree is in elementary education, and her master's degree is in elementary curriculum. Before entering the homeschooling world several years ago, she was an elementary teacher, a curriculum coordinator, and a private tutor.
