Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Barbara Benjamin s first volume of poetry, Through My Window, was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 1989. Her poetry has also been published in The Connecticut River Review and The Fairfield County Catholic and has been featured in Celebrate Your Divinity and Le Preuve Scientifique de l Existence de Dieu, by Orest Bedrij. Ms.Benjamin also paints and several of her water colors and poems are the expression of a single inspiration, among them The Encounter, inspired by the same vision as the cover painting.An international speaker, consultant, executive mentor, and retreat leader, Ms. Benjamin is also the founding director of Intuitive Discovery,Inc. In that capacity, she has designed and facilitated programs in leadership, human resources, innovation, and creative and spiritual development for Fortune 500 companies, non-profit organizations and universities.Ms. Benjamin s appearances include The Writer s Workshop in Geneva, Switzerland, and The Cenacle Center in Houston, Texas. In 1998, Ms. Benjamin co-directed The Third Millennium Leadership Assembly in Campobello, New Brunswick, Canada.Her other publications include: Leadership in the Interactive Age: A Skills Development Workbook and the accompanying CDs, The Leadership Lecture Series; The Case Study: Storytelling in the Industrial Age and Beyond; and A Modern Prayer Guide to St. Teresa of Avila s Interior Castle. Ms. Benjamin loves to cook and she has also co-authored two cookbooks, The Lenten Kitchen and The Advent Kitchen, published by The Paulist Press.
