Inhaltsangabe

Created with the vision of educating everyone about speech therapy, this book is being used to introduce the concept of therapy to children recently diagnosed, provide a story and characters that children already in speech can relate to, and help parents, educators, and children not in speech understand what speech and language disorders are all about. Recommended for Kindergarten through Middle School ages, Speech Class Rules is set in an elementary school, but is appropriate for any speech therapy setting. A light-hearted story lends insight into the semantic, syntactic, phonological, pragmatic, fluency and voice disorders that affect approximately 10% of all children in the United States. The entertaining story is complimented by the language rich illustrations. Designed with the constant wear and tear of libraries and classrooms in mind, Speech Class Rules was created with the highest quality production and materials to ensure years of use.
