Maureen MacDowell (formerly Miss Barbera) taught kindergarten for seven years and is currently a second grade teacher for the prestigious Three Village School District, NY. She resides in Wading River, New York with her husband and two children.Max Hergenrother is a graduate from the School of Visual Arts. He freelances as a professional New York illustrator and teaches for the Department of Fine Arts at St. John s University. He resides in Manhattan with his wife Jeanean.
