Edwin A. Kramb is a retired Electrical Engineer who has a great interest in military history. As a hobby in his retirement, he has written several American military history books. Ed is a veteran of the Korean War and has experienced some military history first-hand. He saw combat in Korea as a member of the Machine Gun Platoon of Dog Company, 31st Infantry Regt. of the 7th Infantry Division.

Ed was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Army Good Conduct Medal. In addition, he earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, and the Republic of Korea Korean War Service Medal.

After his discharge from the service, Ed took advantage of the GI Bill and obtained an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Detroit. After 34 years employment in the electronics industry, he retired in 1993. Since then, he has devoted his spare time to his hobby of writing military history books. Ed was born and raised in Fostoria, Ohio. He presently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with Evelyn, his wife of 46 years. Ed and Evelyn have six children and twelve grandchildren.
