Bill Monroe has given us a book that calls us back to the Great Commission. The Great Commission consists of three divisions which are covered in these pages. Number one is to make disciples; number two is to put them, by the act of baptism, into a local general assembly called the church; and number three is to train them. Then and only then did Christ promise to be with us until the end. For more than a quarter of a century, we have departed from that one great mandate. The emphasis by many preachers today is the kingdom, or about people hurting, or that you can be better if you so desire. We must remember, however, that the Commission in this church age is to complete the Bride. When the Bride is complete, the Lord Jesus, the Bridegroom, will come back for her. - Publisher.
