Tim Rasinski, Ph.D., is a professor of education at Kent State University. He has published more than 100 articles and 10 books on reading education.

Carol Flexer, Ph.D., is a professor of audiology at the University of Akron and has authored more than 140 academic publications. She consults and lectures internationally about the role of hearing in education.

Theresha A. Boomgarden-Szypulski, CCC-SLP, holds a masters degree in speech-language pathology. She is the founder of Accessing Better Communication, Inc., and she lectures internationally.
