Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Justine Felix Rutherford grew up on a farm in Spurlock Creek, West Virginia, which she describes in her first memoir, Rough Lumber, Stories from Spurlock Creek. She went to Milton high School in Milton, West Virginia, and she attended Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, becoming a nurse in 1962 and retiring from St. Mary's Hospital in 1986. She has two sons, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
