Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Dr. Seth J. Baum has been practicing cardiology in Boca Raton, Florida since 1991. A graduate of Columbia College and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Baum completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at NYU Medical Center in New York City. He followed residency with fellowship training in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology at New York Medical College.

Dr. Baum has served as Director of the Electrophysiology and Cardiac Catheterization laboratories at both Boca Raton Community Hospital and North Ridge Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

In addition to his more “traditionally” based practice of cardiology, Dr. Baum has also worked extensively in the field of Integrative Medicine. He ran the John W. Henry Center for Integrative Medicine and the Mind/Body Medical Institute (an affiliate of Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital) at Boca Raton Community Hospital, taught a graduate level course in Integrative Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, and has lectured to both physicians and non-medical groups across the country about the pros and cons of Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Baum has appeared as a guest on numerous radio and television programs, including The Voice of America, The CBN 700 Club, and MSNBC. He authored the book The Total Guide to a Healthy Heart, as well as numerous articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. His most recent publication in the Journal of the American Nutraceutical Association titled “Health Personnel Antioxidant Study (HPAS),” which addresses the need for individualizing the approach to nutritional supplementation.
