Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Artist and painter, Thomas Pyatt, was born and raised in a historic old riverfront town along the Waccamaw River deep down in the southeast. He is the son of a Gullah chief from Sandy Island, South Carolina. He spent many summers on the island as a young child and his experiences from those years have compelled to record the history of the people and the area as seen from his perspective and vantage point. He has degrees from San Francisco State University and San Francisco Law School.
