Barbara is the President and CEO of Playmore , a company devoted to people and the strategies in companies that will maximize the work experience for the individual thus creating a bottom line impact for the organization. Barbara Brannen is a Human Resources Executive with over 30 years of experience. She has served as Vice-President and a member of the executive team for such organizations as Qwest Communications, Rose Medical Center, AON/Innovative Services of America and the University of Denver. These companies ranged in size from 2000 to 12000 employees and from $200 million to one billion dollars in revenue. She is a National consultant to emerging organizations on Human Resource strategy and creating magnificent work environments, connecting profitability with people. She offers certifications to workplaces as "A Better Place to Work," through her books and workshops. Barbara has a Degree in Business Administration from Niagara University and graduate credits at the University of Denver. She has been the President of the Colorado Human Resource Association and currently is a founding board member of The Colorado Human Resource Planning Society. Barbara has been recognized as the Human Resource Professional of the Year in 1990 by the Colorado Human Resources Association and was named as an Outstanding Woman in Business in Human Resources for 2002 by the Denver Business Journal. Barbara passed the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) in 1990. Barbara is the author of the new book, Office Peace Your Guide to a More Respectful and Productive Work Environment and the book, The Gift of Play. Barbara is a member of the National Speakers Association and speaks to corporations, organizations and associations throughout the United States. Her programs include, "Learning to Play More To Keep From Turning to Crispy Burnt Toast," "Stop Going Bananas, The Secrets of People Working Together," "Not Everything That Gets People Going Comes With A Dollar Sign," and "Office Peace." Barbara Brannen is a powerful presenter with standing ovations being common.
