Toby Landesman is a writer, story gatherer, photographer and consultant who believes strongly in healing through creative expression. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana and completed a Master's Degree in Social Work at Loyola University of Chicago. A psychotherapist with over 30 years of clincial experience working with trauma survivors, Toby has extensive knowledge in the areas of domestic violence and child sexual abuse. She has been actively involved with SHALVA, a Jewish domestic violence agency in Chicago, and is a member of Chicago's Task Force on Domestic Abuse in the Jewish Community.
