Learning at a tender age to bake and cook her family s kitchen just on the county line of Philadelphia, Randi moved to Colorado as a teen for college. Earning graduate degrees in Education and Psychology, she spent nearly two decades teaching and counseling children and the occasional parent. Although life threw her a hardball of an illness, she never gave in and instead started to bake and sell her goods around Evergreen, Colorado. The locals kept asking for more treats when she was one day dubbed The Muffin Lady by a local Post Office employee. Hence, began her career as full time culinary professional and author. Her books continue to be well received and she has been honored with a Best First Cookbook in the World Award from Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, as well as a 1st Place EVVY Award from Colorado Independent Publishers Awards.Randi says that "Food is what gives us life and when you know how to prepare good food, it should be shared for the benefit of all to enjoy.
