Genevieve (Gen) LaGreca's breakthrough novel Noble Vision won a ForeWord magazine Book-of-the-Year Award, a Writer's Digest International Book Award, a Midwest Book Award, and an Illinois Women's Press Association Fiction Contest Award. The novel's dramatic portrayal of the struggle of a doctor whose judgment and conscience conflict with the dictates of a state health system in a life-or-death case earned endorsements from American Medical Association past president Edward Annis, syndicated columnist Walter Williams, magazine magnate Steve Forbes, and Nobel laureate Milton Friedman. It is considered very highly recommended reading by Midwest Book Review.Gen holds a BS cum laude in chemistry from Polytechnic Institute of New York and an MA in philosophy from Columbia University. She is a former pharmaceutical chemist who now writes fiction and social commentary.
