Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

David A. Martin, Warner-Booker Distinguished Professor of International Law at the University of Virginia, USA is a Migration Policy Institute nonresident fellow. He was special assistant to the State Department's assistant secretary for human rights and humanitarian affairs from 1978 to 1980; and general counsel of the INS from 1995 to 1998.
