This book is an abridged version of the Psalms arranged so that all 150 Psalms can be read in one week or one month. Space for personal thoughts and meditations is provided for each day, so that the reader also becomes a "writer". It is suggested that this book be used the first month or week of each quarter as a spiritual discipline that leads to closeness to God and the beautiful expressions of a relationship with him through the Psalms.
The Psalms in this volume are abridged to give the busy modern reader with little time, the opportunity to fit this reading/meditation/writing practice into their schedule. Over several years time it will become a unique personalized experience with God through reading the Psalms coupled with one's personal thoughts recorded in previous readings.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
R. Lee Delp serves as a "pastor" in the business community. He is a licensed lay pastor of the Eastern District of the Mennonite Church USA, while his professional career includes the position of President and CEO of one of the largest privately held companies in the US, as well as numberous board directorships of both for profit and not for profit enterprises. He currently serves as Chair of the Board for three companies. Lee has also been involved in the Mennonite Church on local, regional, and national levels. Additionally, Lee is a Benedictine Oblate associated with Saint Benedict's Monastary in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. In addition to being a lifelong member of the Mennonite Congregation of his birth, Lee is also active in a local Episcopal Congregation.
