DR. SUSAN J. WRIGHT is President of The Coaching Project Inc., a Canadian firm specializing in executive coaching, leadership development and coach education. Susan coaches leaders to discover their unique blend of inner character and outer competence for success in today’s hyper-turbulent organizations. She is also a Program Director of The Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, where she supervises coach training, and a faculty member in the MBA program of Athabasca University. Her new book, Leadership Alchemy is the basis for Leaders Coaching Leaders, an executive development program in partnership with The Niagara Institute, the Canadian affiliate of The Conference Board. Susan is the former Corporate Vice President, Human Resources, at Ontario Hydro. She has held a number of executive roles in business and consulting, focusing on strategic change and leadership development. Susan has a Doctorate in Education from the University of Toronto and a Masters in Environmental Studies from York University. She has written and spoken extensively in her field, and has worked internationally in Australia, Malaysia, Africa and the Caribbean. The hallmarks of Susan’s style are energy, focus, imagination and strong leadership.
Carol MacKinnon is an associate of The Coaching Project Inc. where she delivers innovative leadership coach training and does individual and team coaching. Carol's coaching practice is focused on supporting leaders eager to increase their personal and organizational effectiveness, starting "from the inside out". Carol is a certified coach from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara. Carol also runs her own Human Resources consulting firm, focused on supporting clients seeking to ensure people strategies align with business goals. She has been a consultant, a leader, innovator and teacher in the Compensation, Performance Management and HR strategy field for more than 25 years. In 1998 she was recognized by the Human Resources Management Association with the Award of Merit for her contribution to her clients, her colleagues and her profession. Carol teaches in Athabasca University's MBA Program. She won the first President's Award for Tutoring/ Mentoring Excellence in 2002.
