Maureen Stearns, born in Forestville, New York, has worked extensively with struggling learners. Her teaching career began in 1992 in St. Petersburg, Florida. Since then she earned her Master of Science Degree in Community Psychology and wrote an award-winning book titled Conscious Courage®.
