In whatever ministry, both in word and action, Fr. Alan says he always tries to accent the positive. "A person's self-image affects their ability to hope, dream, dare, and achieve. Through common sense, the teachings of faith, and unconditional acceptance, I try to build up a person's sense of self-worth." Through his preaching, writing, and photography, Fr. Alan continually assures people of the beauty and goodness of God's creation, starting with the human person.
