Lean management is a craft, not a toolkit—and like any craft, it takes roughly 10,000 hours of daily practice to learn.
That is the central argument of this fourth volume of REAL LEAN series, written for senior executives who want to understand why most Lean efforts stall and what it actually takes to succeed.
The book introduces the "Emiliani Method" for estimating the cost of conventional management practice, develops the concept of behavioral waste, and examines the often-overlooked link between management systems and business ethics.
It also includes Eleven Questions connecting specific Lean tools to the "Respect for People" principle, and Twelve Rules for daily practice.
A practical, plain-spoken guide for leaders committed to mastering Lean rather than merely adopting its vocabulary.
