Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Joe Weessies has been involved with business software for over 20 years. He has seen the progression from MRP To ERP to Optimization. He has worked on small private companies to large fortune 500 corporations. Joe joined with PeopleSoft in March of 1996 to be one of their first manufacturing consultants. By the end of the year, Joe had earned the 1996 Consultant of the Year Award. In 1997, Joe earned 3 top Performer awards from PeopleSoft Consulting. Joe was not only considered one of the top functional consultants within the Supply Chain area but also a top-notch technical consultant.

Joe left PeopleSoft to pursue other goals but still continued to do PeopleSoft consulting working with smaller consulting firms, including forming his own company. Joe then accomplished a long-term goal, completing the first book on PeopleTools version 8, which has sold around the world.

Joe has been working with Application Engine from version 5 through today’s current release of version 8. He has modified complex Application Engine programs as well as written brand new programs. Joe has even developed many interface programs using the new File Layout object.

Steve Bollinger has been working as an independent consultant doing custom business software design and coding for over 20 years. His primary focus has been on Supply Chain and ERP implementations. Steve has been involved with programming PeopleSoft Supply Chain custom modifications since January of 1997.
