It is a handbook on how to practice meditation (mindfulness) in everyday life in the Theravada Buddhist tradition as taught in Burma. The second section of the book describes the meditative process and the last section deals with mindful creative living. It is written in a dialogue form mostly and has a direct and succinct reading for readers as expressed by most who had read the book. It was self published by the author in 1992 and thereafter it has been reprinted five times.

Dr Thynn Thynn is a retired physician born in Burma and hadstudied with two Masters in her original country. Sshe is the mother of two grown children and had been teaching Buddhism and meditation in daily life for over fifteen years in Thailand, Australia and U.S. She founded the Sae Taw Win Dhamma Center in Northern California and is the resident teacher there. She teaches weekly classes, seminars and workshops in daily life mindfulness practice as well as Classical Buddhism in the Theravada tradition.
