You ask. You receive. So, you have your "dance" (personal celebration for having received or achieved). What then? Many find themselves in several states of being after their dance.

Chapter 1 The Dance (A Scenario)
And it was told king David saying, The Lord hath blessed the house of Obed-edom , and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. So David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with gladness.
And it was so, that when they that bare the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, he sacrificed oxen and fatlings.
And David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet.
And as the ark of the Lord came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the Lord; and she despised him in her heart.
2 Samuel 6:12-16
A dance celebrates an event. The scenario: A man goes to a dance and finds a lady who is alone. He asks her if she will dance with him, and she accepts the invitation. They dance. After a while has passed, they become acquainted. The man feels that he has built up enough courage to ask a question. It is a question that has been on his mind for almost the entire evening. He asks, "What are you doing after the dance?"
"Choices!" She realizes that this question may imply intimacy. At this point, the lady reserves the right to choose an answer. She knows that her answer will not only answer his question, but it will also answer his invitation of intimacy as well. Assuming what the outcome may be, she answers...
The spiritual aspect of this scenario must be interjected before the continuance of the scenario. God has done great things for you! Your body has been healed! You have been delivered from a weakness! You have just received a financial miracle! Your loved one that you have been praying for has just been saved! You were just placed into a higher position in the ministry!
So, you dance in celebration! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Now, while you are still dancing, the Holy Spirit taps you on your shoulder and asks you, "What are you doing after the dance?"
Now, let us reflect on the scenario. There are three optional responses that the lady can give the man. One response that she could give is, "I do not know."
Now, let us analyze this response in the spiritual aspect. You are in a church service. The Word of God has gone forth in a very powerful way. People are delivered. People are healed. The glory of God is revealed in a very mighty way. Now, you begin to dance. The Holy Spirit asks you, "What are you doing after the dance?" Your response is, "I do not know."
So, are you saying that after all God has done, you do not know what you are going to do? After God has spoken His Word, you still do not know what you are going to do?
Another response that could be given is, "I am going home." I have just been delivered. I have just been revived. I have just received a financial breakthrough. My child just gave his or her heart to the Lord, but I am going back to that same old place that I just came from, home. I have not decided to go further. I have just been delivered from a situation and I am going home.
Home is a comfortable place. You do not have to strive for perfection at home, your old place of weakness. At home, you do not seem to care how you look. Home is where you "let it all hang out."
Are you the one that gives God this response? After God has done so much for you, are you just going to go home?
So, you're going to go and put on the same old clothes, lie down in the same old bed, and eat the same old food. You have decided to pray on the same old level. You have decided to make the same mistakes. You have decided to entertain the same old temptations. The answer is yes; I have received my deliverance and I have danced, but I am going home to my comfort zone. Does this look like you?
Again, let us reflect on the scenario. The third response could imply intimacy. This response answers intimacy with intimacy. It is this response that tells the man that he has "scored." This is the answer that God always wants to hear from us. What is the answer to, "What are you doing after the dance?" The answer is: "Whatever You want me to do."
One can almost feel the excitement building in this scenario. Their excitement and congeniality make the man and lady desire to leave the dance immediately. They are ready to leave the dance scene altogether. They have mutually decided that it has somehow become too crowded there. They want to be alone and away from every distraction. They want to feel their closeness and their cuddling. They want to forget the dance and enjoy their intimacy. Why is all of this excitement present? Because both of them desire the same pleasure and they have been open about it! It is ideal for one person to desire something, but it is ecstasy when someone else desires the same!
Then, they leave the dance and go to a place of seclusion.
Jesus healed the sick, raised the dead, multiplied food, cast out demons, etc. These miracles were truly dance-worthy! What did Jesus do after the dance?
Excerpt from Chapter 8
When Loneliness Keeps You Company
I was sitting on the floor at the foot of my bed one evening. I began to think of how lonely I was. I did not know what to do about it. I just felt so lonely. No one had said or done anything wrong to me. I was just feeling lonely.
Sometimes it seems everybody shows me love except the one I desire to show me love. People show love, but have you experienced only wanting to be loved by a certain individual? Has that individual not only refused to love you but has also rejected your love as well?
Rejection is an awful experience that pierces our emotions.
Inwardly, you may yearn to be close to the ones that desire to love you. Admit it. You have rejected the person s love for you. You know you will not reciprocate their love because you only desire to love a certain one. I have been there. This is a state of selfishness that invites loneliness into our lives. Be fair to yourself and other people by being open to true love.
As I stated earlier, love is not love until you have given it away.
Reflecting back to when I was sitting on the floor, God asked me a question. He asked, Isn t it something how loneliness wants to keep you company? From that day I learned that loneliness is much more than just a mere feeling.
For those of you who battle with loneliness, I know that God will deliver you. He will give you knowledge, wisdom and understanding concerning loneliness in this chapter. Be open, and the Spirit of God will minister to you.
In the Book of Genesis, God made Adam. Later he saw that Adam was lonely, and He created Eve. What should you do when loneliness wants to keep you company? Look to God. Let Him fulfill your life with the one who is for you.
Adam said, ...This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh.... (Genesis 2:23) Eve s presence erased Adam s loneliness. Just because your loneliness has been canceled, take heed, lest you fall. Be very careful of what you do after your celebration of the dismissal of loneliness.
God has a law. God created Adam for Himself. God created Eve for Adam. I believe that God created each of us for someone else. We are not created just for ourselves. Is loneliness in your life now? Is loneliness keeping you company? Be encouraged. God has already created someone to fill the void that is in your life.
When God gives you the one who is to fulfill your life, never put him or her before God! Always remember that God must come first in your life. If you have not put God first in your life, what you perceive to be loneliness may very well not be loneliness at all. It could very well be God creating a situation that would cause you to draw nigh to Him. God is a jealous God.
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God...
