Mark Anthony Thomas is the author of two books, including “The Poetic Repercussion: A Poetic & Musical Narrative.” An award winning author, journalist, and literary artist, M.A.T. performs at educational institutions, major civic engagements, and spoken word events around the United States. Born in Big Rapids, MI in 1979, the 2005 Georgia Author of the Year-Poetry nominee is a member of the Academy of American Poets. "The Poetic Repercussion" is the winner of the 2005 Los Angeles Black Book Expo Awards top honor in Poetry.
