Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Aaron Rudolph was born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico, a stop on the Old Santa Fe Trail and a town once frequented by outlaws like Billy the Kid and Doc Holliday. Aaron points to the town's fascinating past as a fertile subject matter for poetry. Las Vegas has two historical sections, Old Town and New Town. The town was home to both Hispanic families who had been living in the area for generations and newcomers from the East, some there to start businesses and others looking to raise families in the ever growing New Mexico territory.

Aaron began writing seriously as a student at New Mexico Highlands University. After graduating, he enrolled in the MFA program in Creative Writing at Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minnesota, earning his degree in 2000. Individual poems have been published in Flyway, South Dakota Review, Concho River Review and other magazines. Aaron now lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
