Back Cover Text

Outsider Will Connors gets the chance of a lifetime when Luke Manning, Peter Kaplan and Chase Paquette – three of the most popular jocks at Drake High – invite him to ditch English class. Always ignored by the popular “in crowd,” Will thinks his social status is about to change. And change it does, but not for the better!

Will simply can’t seem to get away from Luke. They find themselves pitted against each other in basketball and math, and they’re both wooing Jessica Courtney, the girl Will has loved since childhood. To top it all off, Luke never lets Will forget he has Tourette Syndrome, a socially embarrassing neurological disorder.

Diane Shader Smith, author of Mallory’s 65 Roses and Stevie’s Secret, has done it again. In Will she depicts a stalwart young man who must learn to trust his instincts and rise above adversity. A Test of Will is a story of courage and conviction that will resonate with readers for years to come.
