Val Smith is a first time author. Val is a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in a U.S. Marine combat engineer battalion during the Viet Nam era and is a PADI certified open water scuba diver. He is a 1979 graduate of Oklahoma State University and was a quarterback on the Cowboys football team while attending. He is a Construction Project Controls Specialist by trade which has taken him on overseas assignment. He is currently Manager of Program Scheduling for BSW International, Inc. an architectural firm. Val has a passion for the Word of God and has studied prophecy relating to world events for most of his 46 years. He is married to the former Vicki Tyler of Tulsa and has three sons, Rodney, Jason and Kyle.
