Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Kathleen Ryniker Bashian is no stranger to oriental rugs, having married into a family whose business, and passion, is rugs. She is the founder of Cultural Connections, a business which develops programs to showcase the history and mystery of products and services in the company of the classics. Dr. Bashian is a professional speaker and a member of the National Speakers Association. She holds a B.A. from Brooklyn College, and a M.A. and Ph.D. from New York University, with specialization in Shakespeare. She has taught at George Washington University, Marymount University, and George Mason University in Virginia. Her work has been recognized by grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The author lives in McLean, Virginia with her husband and three children.
