Maurine Reynolds Adamek spent most of her childhood in Tahoka, Texas, and later moved to Beeville, Texas. She married husband Ronnie during college, postponing a career to raise a family. It was during those days when the children were small, and the author was a full-time mom, that she wrote "I'll Do Better Tomorrow, I Promise." Ms. Adamek recently went back to school to become a teacher and currently lives in Yoakum, Texas with her three daughters. "I'll Do Better..." is her first book and is now in it's third printing.
