Most of us think of oriental food when we hear the word tofu, and if someone does not care for oriental food they think they would not care for tofu. Some of you might be pleasantly surprised to hear tofu can be used with almost any food combination: sweet, sour, spicy, cooked uncooked, baked, fried, marinated etc. or any food from any country: old world/German, American, Italian and the list is endless. This book contains recipes from all over and because the author was raised in Germany, there are some authentic old world/German recipes prepared with tofu included.
This book contains a variety of tasty, exceptional recipes, such as appetizing salads, soups, main dishes and desserts. The recipes were created with the intention to introduce tofu in common foods. Because the recipes are easy to prepare and the format is easy to read this book is very popular.
Some soy facts and nutritional information are presented for enhancing the knowledge of the cook (supplied by the American Soybean Association). Additionally, inspirational quotations (one with each recipe) give food for thought, providing both nourishment to the soul and the body
