Rochester, Minn. native Dean Riggott has worked as a professional photographer since 1991 when he began his career as a photojournalist for the Post-Bulletin, Successful Business and Agri News newspapers in Rochester.

Dean left his newspaper job in 1999 to devote full attention to his freelance business, Dean Riggott Photography, specializing in Rochester and agriculture photo stock, commercial, corporate, editorial and wedding photography. In 1997, Dean published his best-selling book, "Rochester: The Images," and in 2001 he published "Life on the Farm: A Pictorial Journey of Minnesota’s Farmland and its People."

Dean’s clients include, among others, Wells Fargo, Mayo Clinic, Sierra Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Successful Farming, Women’s Health, Ladies Home Journal, Young Entrepreneur, International Investor, Associated Press, and Bloomberg News. He is also a member of Grant Heilman Photography, the largest agricultural stock agency in the country.
