Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Neil Wolkodoff, Ph.D., trains golf athletes on the PGA and LPGA tours in physical and mental training programs. He holds certifications from the American Council on Exercise, American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning association, and the U.S. weightlifting Federation. He has trained a variety of athletes including NFL, NHL, MLB and Olympic athletes for over 15 years and now specializes in golf performance improvement, and his Physical Golf training program is based at the Greenwood Athletic Club in Englewood, Colorado.

Golf involves the lateral storage, rotation and then release of energy through the club down the target line. Without the key muscular abilities of the core muscles, this sequential movement won t be very powerful or consistent.
